Launching projects that bring meaningful change.

Cloudrise is a small, growing effort to support real-world work — with a privacy-respecting, distributed network built for experimentation, learning, and steady progress.

What we’re doing (high level)

We’re building a foundation that makes it easier to prototype and deploy projects across multiple locations. We keep the details of infrastructure private for security, but the goal is simple: make good things easier to ship.

Low volume. When there’s something worth sharing.

We use double opt-in. If you don’t confirm, you won’t be subscribed.

Why not just use AWS or big platforms?

Big platforms are powerful — but they can also become single points of failure. Over the past decade, we’ve repeatedly seen moments where public pressure, institutional pressure, or rapidly shifting policy changes have led to content removal and deplatforming — including content that many people believed was true and important.

Cloudrise is built to reduce reliance on any single gatekeeper.

  • Distributed: no single hosting company, vendor, or location has absolute control.
  • Economical: sharing bandwidth and resources can make experimentation cheaper and open doors for new voices.
  • Mission-aligned: we’re exploring a nonprofit posture so incentives stay focused on meaningful outcomes rather than growth-at-all-costs.
Note: this isn’t anti-cloud. We use the best tool for the job. The point is resilience — keeping the ability to publish, collaborate, and build, even when the environment gets weird.
Distributed, redundant, resilient.

Help build the network

To grow Cloudrise responsibly, we need partners. If you want to help, there are a few practical ways.

Sponsor hardware

Fund a mini-server, storage, or networking gear that expands capacity for projects we’re launching.

Donate bandwidth

Offer a stable connection and let us place a small node at your location (with clear boundaries and minimal hassle).

Provide space

Host a small, quiet, low-power device — a “presence” that helps distribute the network.
